Prior to buying any water proofing material consider a number of factors like roof surface of your RV and how the RV is utilized throughout the year. Most RV roofs are made up of metal, fiber glass or rubber, so make sure waterproofing material works on that surface.

Before applying waterproof coating clean and thoroughly wash the entire roof surface. Clean dirt, debris and any loose material from the roof surface. Use mild detergent and garden hose to wash the roof surface. Applying waterproof coating is not that difficult as it looks. Simply start with applying coating around the vents with brushes and then do the rest of the roof with nap rollers or squeegee. Let it dry and wait for 24-hours before going on your journey.
